En dicho marco, Gustavo Parodi se desempeñó como árbitro a lo largo de la citada competencia.
El 23 de octubre de 2009, Gustavo Parodi brindó una conferencia sobre “El Acuerdo Arbitral†en el marco del IV Congreso Anual de Arbitraje organizado por el Comité Argentino de Arbitraje Nacional y Transnacional y la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, que tuvo lugar además con el auspicio del Tribunal Superior de la Provincia de Córdoba y la Bolsa de Comercio de dicha ciudad.
En ocasión de la reunión anual del Grupo Latinoamericano de Arbitraje de la CCI que tuvo lugar en Punta Cana el 27 de agosto de 2009, Gustavo Parodi analizó la problemática argentina al exponer sobre las “CaracterÃsticas Procesales del Arbitraje en Latinoaméricaâ€.
